I’m in 5th grade at Lakewood School, and my school is one of my biggest cheerleaders for my steer project. The school supports all the kids that show and understand how much hard work it takes.
ABOUT MY SCHOOL
Lakewood School
I go to Lakewood School in the Henry County school district. You can visit my school’s website at lakewood.henryk12.net to see what we are up to.
My school and my whole school district really support 4-H. My teachers and my principal ask me how Mr. Moo-agi is doing, and they cheer me on getting ready for the fair. Henry County Schools want kids like me to join 4-H, and I am so thankful for that.
My school makes me feel like my steer project matters, not just something I do after school.

MY 5TH GRADE TEACHERS
Ms. Marley & Ms. Amanda
I have two of the best teachers this year, and they both root for me and Mr. Moo-agi.
Ms. Marley
Ms. Marley is one of my 5th grade teachers. She always wants to hear about how Mr. Moo-agi is doing and helps me stay on top of my schoolwork so I have time for barn chores too.
Ms. Amanda
Ms. Amanda is my other 5th grade teacher this year. She is so encouraging, and she was right there cheering when I made A Honor Roll this year.
2025 TO 2026 SCHOOL YEAR
I made A Honor Roll!
I work hard at school just like I work hard with Mr. Moo-agi. This year I earned my “A” Honor Roll certificate, and my family and teachers were there to celebrate with me.

Me & Ms. Amanda
Ms. Amanda was so proud of me when I got my Honor Roll certificate at Lakewood.
With my family
Mom, Dad & Me
My mom and dad came to my Awards Ceremony last school year to watch me get my certificate. They cheer for me at school just like they do at the barn.
AFTER SCHOOL
I am on the Speech Team too
Besides taking care of Mr. Moo-agi, I am on the Speech Team at Lakewood. My coach is Mr. David Weatherly, and he is amazing. He has taught me how to speak up, stay confident, and talk to people I do not know, which actually helps me a lot when I am talking to judges and buyers at the show.
